The federal government’s economic stimulus package includes tax rebate checks ranging from $300 up to $1800, mailed to households starting in May.
Help us keep those dollars here in Lafayette!
The City of Lafayette is mailing postcards to every household in town. Residents can use the postcard at any participating business to receive special deals and discounts. The City is also holding a drawing and providing prizes in the form of gift certificates to help drive more customers your way!
There is NO COST to be a part of this program, just create a deal or discount that works for you and we will do the rest.
It is easy to participate!
- Create a deal or discount that your business will offer through August 2008. Email details of that incentive to alexandral@cityoflafayette.com.
- Incentives are listed on www.discoverlafayette.com. We will also link to your business’ website, so be sure to let us know the web address if you have one!
- Display the Discover Lafayette logo prominently at your business and make sure your staff is aware of this promotion.
- Customers can use their Discover Lafayette postcard as many times as they want.
- Customers can fill out entry forms each time they use their postcard and there will be a drawing with the City providing prizes of Discover Lafayette gift certificates.
- This special promotion is open only to businesses located in Lafayette.
